Licensed landscape architect with a passion for plants and creative design solutions. Over 20 years of design experience and a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture from Washington State University. I love to CREATE – that is what drives everything that I do. Creating beauty and enjoyment of nature through creating a unique design experience, beautiful gardens, and spaces that draw you outdoors to enjoy nature and gather with friends and loved ones is what Kismet Design LLC is all about.
Colleen Hanzen
Landscape Designer & Office Manager
Landscape Designer and Office Manager with 8+ years of experience. After earning a degree in Theatre Arts with a Landscape Architecture minor from the University of Idaho, I transitioned from marketing to landscape design in 2016. Now based in Minneapolis, I’ve been with Kismet Design since 2021, specializing in CAD design and project management. I love creating spaces that blend bold lines with natural plantings to create inviting, functional environments for families. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, video games, and making art through woodburning and embroidery.
