Amazing talent and listener! Kryssie is organized, great at coordinating with others, and an absolute joy to work with..

Lori

“Creative”

Kryssie prepared designs for two very difficult areas on my waterfront property. Her ideas were creative and sensitive to the environment and met my needs for an open and ‘airy’ feeling while giving a sense of privacy. I love her selection of plants!

“Inventive and inspiring”

Kryssie Maybay is a fantastic Landscape Architect. She has comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of creating outdoor living environments. From grading and drainage, hardscapes, decks, outdoor rooms, water features and pools, to planting and site amenities/furnishings, Kryssie is truly one of the most inventive and inspiring designers I have known. Besides her ability to work closely with her clients in creating their vision, Kryssie’s complete understanding of the constructability of the work makes her incredibly valuable to the installation team. In general, projects rarely go perfectly smooth, but Kryssie is able to minimize most problems on her projects because she maintains a huge commitment to collaboration within the team. Kryssie’s clients always get high quality landscaping projects with the best value.

“Detailed and thorough”

I have known Kryssie for several years in professional circles but have only recently worked with her this past year. She is a consummate professional, detailed and thorough in her work and always has excellent ideas to solve whatever problem is at hand. Her intellect and easy personality make Kryssie a wonderful landscape architect to work with, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a quality designer.

Inspiration and Musings

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CoGamvbju60/ Natural playgrounds can blend seamlessly into your landscape while providing hours of entertainment for your kids. What are your favorite natural play elements? Just got new Structure & Tree lighting samples. This might be my new favorite fixture! Aahhh, every garden needs a few winter blooms! Loving this Hamamelis x intermedia 'Jelena' These beautiful stone risers are ready for some plants! At this time of year, when we long to be out in our gardens, many may be thinking of adding a greenhouse. They are great for extending your growing season, starting seeds, and providing stability and flexibility for more tender plants. While greenhouses can be a beautiful addition to your garden, there are a few things that should be thought about before diving in. Photo Courtesy of NW Green Panels. We use our native Carex opnupta for rain gardens and boggy areas all the time. Its fantastic! Here it is growing on its own, you can see why it does so well in a rain garden 🌿 Part 1 of the new podcast episode with Lisa Bauer of @chartreuselandscapedesign just came out. I had so much fun learning more about Lisa's business and of course, nerding out on plants and design! Stay tuned for part 2 Little to the left... little to the right... perfect! I love rock setting days!
